Hello, Internets. My name is Brent, and this is my website.
I'm a 22 year old photographer and freelance web designer living in northeastern Ohio. Clearly, my favorite activities include photography and web design, but I also enjoy independant film, music, travel, all kinds of art and design, politics, and re-writing disjointed factual paragraphs about myself on a blog that I'm sure nobody reads.
I'm a pretty friendly guy, but the older I get, the more hermetic in nature I become. I need a lot of my own time during the day. I'm a dog person through and through, and Nag Champa incense is my favorite smell in the world. I drink a lot of coffee, smoke too much and sometimes I forget to eat all together. I'm a night owl. I eat organic when I can, and I love soy products. I'd love to live in Spain one day, and I'd also love to travel to India, Cambodia, Nepal, Greece, Thailand and Colombia.
I have a deeply rooted sense of connection to the universe, and I believe in God, but disagree entirely with the concept of organized religion today. I don't put up with any kind of ignorant bullshit, and I'm a veracious liberal and feminist. I'm a big proponent of animal rights. I've had a million jobs, but photography is the only one I could spend the rest of my days doing. I'm an avid visual journaler, and I take a lot of photos of my dog. I'm really interested in recording memories.
I have a best friend named Sarai, and I have a really close relationship with my younger sister Alex. I have a Jack Russell Terrier named Jack, who I could not possibly love more. He is often referred to as Downtown Jackie Brown. I've never liked candy, and I'm a really picky eater. I'm highly opinionated and I write everything on white legal pads. I'm the happiest when I'm alone in my room in the middle of the night creating, writing, painting, or even just watching a movie or working.
This website facilitates the documentation of my daily life, as well as sharing photos, design goodies and other cool stuff with you. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I've enjoyed creating and maintaining it.
